Building Founday in public
One look, many templates (CEO × Designer Chaos, Ep. 2)
2026-10-20 · Sree · design
Our second design call: making the building page easy to follow, turning teaching material into LinkedIn PDFs, giving each account a clear job, and one set of templates for the company page.
- Show visitors where each thing belongs. A clear layout beats a clever one.
- Turn useful teaching material into PDFs on LinkedIn. People save and reuse good cheat sheets.
- Serious B2B buyers check your LinkedIn before they trust you, not your Instagram.
- Give every account a clear job and link them from the bio, instead of opening new ones.
- Build 8–9 reusable templates on one grid, so the brand page looks like a founder’s, not a student’s.
- End every recording on purpose: a clear last question and a closing line.
Who to call first, and what to say
2026-10-20 · Rijul · sales
Sales Episode 1 with Rijul: picking who to reach out to, testing two ways of pitching the same service, and why content is the long game next to direct sales.
- Pick a narrow first target: founders and operations, growth or marketing leads at companies of roughly 50–100 people.
- Start where you already are. LinkedIn first; add paid prospecting tools only once the message works.
- Test two pitches on the same list: “let us check what isn’t working” versus “you’re doing well, we can add to it”.
- If they already use AI, offer to improve their current workflow, not replace it.
- Companies that just raised money or got a lot of attention are often hiring and open to fixing how they work.
- Content builds the brand over months; direct outreach brings clients this month. Do both.
Reels find people, carousels keep them (CEO × Designer Chaos, Ep. 1)
2026-10-18 · Sree · design
Our weekly design call: what Instagram actually rewards now, tightening the podcast intro, and a show idea made out of our own planning calls.
- Reels bring new people in; carousels keep the ones you already have. Plan both on purpose.
- Saves and shares now count for more than likes. Watch your own reel to the end, save it and share it.
- A plain repost does very little. Repost with a comment of your own.
- Say why the podcast exists at the start of every episode. Guests always ask in prep, so listeners want it too.
- Record one outro once and reuse it on every episode.
- Ten likes is ten real people who stopped for your work. Keep making things without chasing the numbers.
Setting up the machine before making the content
2026-10-14 · Sree · design
First CEO × Designer call: how we record, where everything lives in Notion, the templates and AI helpers that keep it moving, and checking the website's payment flow end to end.
- Sort out the recording setup before the call, not during it. We lost the first 15 minutes to camera trouble.
- Keep one tracker for every episode, highlight and thumbnail, so nobody asks where something is.
- Turn anything you make twice into a template.
- Let AI agents do the tracking and reporting; keep the people on the creative work.
- Buy your own product once. Checking the payment flow yourself catches what customers would hit.
Selling a service people can't see yet
2026-10-11 · Rijul · sales
First sales call with Rijul: who we actually sell to, how the offers fit together, and what the website had to change before she starts reaching out.
- Sell to people already using AI but not getting results: founders, business owners and marketing teams.
- Let people buy any offer on its own. Making step 1 a requirement for step 2 loses buyers who already know what they want.
- Keep three levels: something free, something small to do yourself, and a bigger option with a person in it.
- Ask for an email or a WhatsApp number. Plenty of people reply faster on WhatsApp.
- Warm people up on LinkedIn and X before paying for lead-generation tools.
- Proof sells: real episodes, real clients, and session recordings shared on request.
